ROBO RAJNIKANTH MOVIE REVIEW


The Robo movie began on 15 February 2008 in Chennai when portfolio photographer G. Venket Ram did a photo shoot with Rajinikanth.Following this initial shoot, Shankar and the cinematographer R. Rathnavelu went on a world tour to location-hunt. The team visited Vienna in Austria, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Hanoi in Vietnam to pick suitable locations. The first three photo sessions were held with Rajinikanth in Mumbai and Chennai with Aishwarya Rai featuring in the fourth session.


The first schedule of the film was started on 8 September 2008 at Peru, where a song picturization featuring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai was shot under the choreography of Raju Sundaram and Claudia Bruckmann, at the historic site of the Machu Picchu. Other scenes for the song were finished off in the United States and then Brazil.The shooting for the second schedule, continued in Goa, India where the initial talkie portions were filmed for ten days. The third schedule for the film included shooting in Himachal Pradesh for a song, which was then followed by scenes being canned in and around Chennai.Scenes featuring a Robotics conference involving Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai, Santhanam and Karunas were carried out at SSN College of Engineering as well as at the Vellore Institute of Technology, with over four hundred students being used as extras.During the final day of filming on July 7, 2010, the cast and crew, including producer Hansraj Saxena, took part in a celebration party commemorating the completion of the two-year filming process.

The film's soundtrack, composed by A. R. Rahman, is slated for release on July 31, 2010. It will coincide with a promotional event to be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The soundtrack album's release rights were purchased by Think Music for Rs. 7 crores (US$1.6 million).

Charmy Kaur


Charmy Kaur, a Telugu and Tamil film actress, was born on 17th may 1987 in Vanai, Mumbai,India. She is simply known as Charmi. She was born in a very orthodox family. She is said to have a very supportive parents. She is almost always accompanied by her mother to the shoot and her father takes care of her schedules and renumeration.

Charmi started her film career with the film "Nee thodu Kavali" opposite Deepak in 2002. She was only 13 years when she entered the movie industry. The film was a flop but helped her career as it exposed her to the movie industry. Her next film was Kadal Azhavatillai opposite Silambarasan which was also unsuccessful at the box office. Later she did some more Tamil films but remained without a single success. After some gap she again appeared in a Telugu movie titled "Sri Anjaneyam". The film was directed by Krishna Vamsi but failed to record a success at the box office. Later she acted opposite Ravi Teja in the film "Chanti" only to give another flop to her career. Her first success came up in the form of the film "Gowri" opposite Sumanth. It gave her the required push to remain in the competition in the film industry. Her next movie was with Nagarjuna titled "Mass". It was a successful movie and boosted her career up.

Later Charmi acted in the film "Chakram" opposite Prabhas. The film was released with high expectations but couldn't survive at the box office. Her next movie was Anukokunda Oka Roju. It was a heroine-oriented thriller and turned out to be a success at the box office. It was so far Charmi's notable as well as critically acclaimed film. It brought out the best performance of her. Later she acted in a bunch of films but none of them could give her any success. They include Political Rowdy, Allari Pidugu, Chukkallo Chandrudu. Later she acted in "Lakshmi" with Venkatesh. The film was said to be moderately successful at the box office. Her next film was "Style" opposite Lawrence. It was one of the biggest hits in 2006. Later she acted in Pournami but was disappointed at its result. Although the film was a flop, she got recognized for her nice performance. The film "Chinnodu" opposite Sumanth was an average at the box office. Her recent film "Rakhi" was a hit and she received good reviews for role in that film. The film titled "Manthra", a thriller with Charmi in the lead role, is currently in production.

Although Charmi hasn't got many successes in her career, with her glamorous personality, good looks, ability to perform well and her ability to choose different characters, she is definitely going to make it big in the film industry.

Shriya Saran


Shriya Saran, One of the glamorous and talented actresses of Telugu and Tamil film Industry, was born on 11th september, 1982. Her father's name is Pushpendra Saran and her mother is Neeraja. She was brought up in Ranipur, Haridwar. She has got a brother named Abhiroop. She completed her schooling from Delhi Public School. Later she completed B.A. from Lady Sri Ram College. This film was also a disappointment to her career growth. Later she acted in "Santhosham" opposite Nagarjuna along with another actress Gracy Singh. The film gave her the success she needed to be among the list of top actresses. Her next movie was "Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu" with Tarun in 2003 directed by Jyothi Krishna. It was an average at the box office. After that Shriya got an opportunity to act with Chiranjeevi. The film was titled "Tagore" and was another big hit in her career after the film "Santhosham." Later she acted in a couple of movies as a female lead role and in a number of films as a guest role but none were successful at the box office.

Shriya debuted Tamil film industry with the film "Ennakku 20 Unnakku 18 in 2003 along with Tarun and Trisha Krishnan. It was a moderate success at the box office, but it was a huge musical hit. The film gave her a good exposure in Tamil film industry and she was supposedly approached by several directors and producers ready to cast her in their movies. But she chose to stay in the Telugu film industry for a while. Nearly after an year she again played the female lead role in Tamil film industry with the film Mazhai opposite Jayam Ravi. The movie proved to be a good one at the box office. Recently she clinched the female lead role opposite Rajinikanth in the film Sivaji: The Boss, which is currently on post production under the direction of Shankar. Shriya is also acting opposite Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, and in another movie with Vikram in Kandasaamy. Besides Telugu and Tamil, She has also acted in a couple of bollywood films. The films include Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, opposite Rithesh Deshmukh, Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum with Arya Bubber, Shukriya with Aftab Shivdasani and Awaarapan opposite Emraan Hasmi, a movie which is going to be released in june 2007, and currently she is acting in the film produced by k.Sera, opposite Bobby Deol.

Shriya, with her ability to work hard and with her glamorous looks, is certainly going to make it big on the silver screen. After all she has got a long way to go in the film industry.

Bhoomika Chawla, a famous Indian Actress born on August 21st 1978 in New Delhi. Bumika Chawla is the youngest daughter to her parents.
