Bhoomika Chawla, a famous Indian Actress born on August 21st 1978 in New Delhi. Bumika Chawla is the youngest daughter to her parents. She has one elder brother and an elder sister His father is a military officer and his posting was at different places across the country so from childhood onwards she lived in many places. She has completed her schooling in Delhi and started her career in the year 1997 in Mumbai city.

Career:

She started acting in Ads and music videos. She also appeared in the zee tv serial in hip hip hurray|To start her career, she did ads on ponds talcum powder and soaps which became popular and inevitably movie offers followed her.

Began carrer in Telugu industry with a first movie 'Yuvakudu'and the movie was a big and mega hit in the year 2000. She became popular and won Best Actress award for the next movie ' kushi' which was a super duper hit in Tollywood.

She acted in several films like Okkadu, Simhadri, Missamma and Anasurya. Her latest film Swagatam, mallepuulvullu which hit the box office. With her excellent performance, dancing abilities impressed audience and got good recognition in the Telugu film industry.

She is married to Mr.Bharat Thakur on October 21 2007 The marriage was performed in a simple ceremony attended by close relatives and friends of their family.

Bhoomika chawla who gave a splendid performance and now announced that she will be directing a movie and is busy directing Telugu movie 'mayabaazar' and wanted to direct another movie when she is ready with a good script. Apart from directing, she is a good writer. She wrote more than 100 poems in English and planning to release a poem book in coming year.
